Very clean. Good beds, good shower. Enough space en very friendly people working here. Basic and clean. If you walk along the road under the railroad tracks it is about 5-10 minutes walk from hauptbahnhof. (Exit washingtonplatz) 3 houses next to the hotel is Don Giovanni, a very cheap but good restaurant. On the other side of the road is a Penny market where you can get fresh baked bread every day.

Italian restaurand, with good food for little money and friendly staff, next door made my kitchenett pontless, and i don't regret it. it's very close to many "must see" places. Really 5 minutes walk to Haupbanhoff (with heavy luggages add extra 10 minutes time), by taxi 1,5 minutes to drive. No screaming party drunks were heard in 5 days of my stay. suits very well for families. The hotel was close to train station and walk distance to tourist spots. At night, there were many events happening near the train station which was convenient. The receptionist was helpful to let us in early than check in hour. Location is close to Main Train Station, Riestag. Old style building, Reception old lady polite and helpful. Bar n Restaurant just below the hotel with friendly staff, bus stop right in front. We had booked a family apartment with two bedrooms and it had two bathrooms, which was very convenient. A bit small but overall good. Very comfortable stay, with no frills. Only a few minutes walk from main station. Excellent Italian restaurant across street. Location was good. 10 minute walk away from train station. We took a faimily room and was clean and spacious. Location, quiet. Two decent places to eat within half block. Large apartment and excellent location. Clean. Fair price for the accomodation, clean. Easy walk to/from train station. Sign over door says Central Inn. Good restaurant across street toward train station. Clean, comfortable, no a/c but we didn't need it due to unseasonally cool weather. 245 bus goes to north entrance of hauptbanhof. Good location. Train station is within walking distance. Not so far from main museums. The room is equipped with everything you need. Helpful personnel. Supermarket directly opposite.15 minute walk from Hauptbahnhof, 15-20 minute walk to Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate. Ease of access from main station. big room, great location. Good location. location. It was clean and tidy and near the central station. The walk to the Brandenburg gate took about 25-30 minutes. Comfortable street parking (but no Parkhaus nearby). Penny market opposite. Good price value ratio. location convenient for central station & local sights. Location was close to the train station. Actually nothing, you get exactly what you pay for and it's worth the prize because it is clean, the beds and shower are good. Should have provided microwave. Unattractive entrance (creates a poor first impression). Internet Wi-Fi was down Reception was on the second floor, not well marked. Had to inquire from the restaurant next door how to get past the locked door to get to the reception area. Overpriced for what you get. Nearest laundamat is a brisk 40-minute walk. Very dirty untidy smoke-filled room. Everywhere the old smell of cigarettes. Poorly equipped kitchenette (1 pot, no cooking utensils, 1 butter knife, 2 spoons, 2 forks, 2 cups) hardly enough for a family and certainly not for cooking anything. Very warm even with open windows- no fan provided. Unclean public areas and entrance. Several doors to unlock before reaching the apartment. Extremely small elevator. The hot water temperature was adjusted too high I got burnt by touching the shower water pipe accidently. The feeling of hurt on my hand skin lasted for a few hours. Fortunately, there was no small kid travelling with us. It could be more dangerous. I highly recommend the water temperature be adjusted to safe range or install a personal protection around the exposed hot water piping where people easily have access to. Another disappointment was the internet was shutdown during the night. the environment, equipment, not very clean. The staff didn't speak English and as I don't speak German this was a real issue. The step up to the shower was very high and in the corridor there are small steps in each doorway and archway making this not brilliant for people with mobility problems. My single room was rather lacking in natural light although I visited in February. Location is about 5 mins bus ride from the Hbf and not next to the Hbf (as the name suggests). Rooms smaller than advertised/shown in photos. Between 2 police depts & prison emergency vehicles passing by very frequently especially early morning/late at night!. The building was old and needed maintenance. Room needed updating and I thought that it was not as advertised. The kitchen facilities were almost non existent. No hairdryer, poor decor and too hot for sleeping in summer.
