The location was good since we had a late arrival and early flight the next morning. We needed to stay close to the airport. The restrooms were clean. Rooms were big. Beds were very comfy and bedsheets were very white and clean. They give you bath towels when you check in. The rooms were big for accommodating up to 6.
Price is great! The hostel is nearby Tegel airport so it is a nice place
to stay while visiting Berlin. There is Lidl and a shopping center right
next to it. Various restaurants and cafes are also at hand. About 30

As basic as it comes, no frills accommodation. Good value for €25 a
night and ideally placed to catch the bus to Tegel airport.
Good location: close to a train station. Not far from city center, neat to tegel airport.
Cheap to stay 1 night before early flight from Tegel airport. great and close to subway and airport bus.
Great value for a dollar, very clean. Close enough to trains and buses. It was good value for the money.Close to Tegel Airport with direct bus across the street. Sheets looked clean and bed was comfortable. Front desk staff were relatively friendly and helpful.
The man on reception was very friendly. Rooms were spacious and great security (2 locked doors to get through).

No air conditioning unit in the room so we had to sleep with the windows open when it wasn't that cool outside. It made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. If it was cooler, it wouldn't have been so bad.
Lack of any kitchen or appliances.
Don't pay for the Wi-Fi if you are on the 3rd floor as it is
out of range.
We cannot find the hotel until we realized it is same with hotel barlin.

there isnt free wifi!!. There were some rowdy guests. As a single female the neighborhood and the room made me feel slightly uncomfortable. The hallway was rather dark and the carpet was stained. While I reserved a single room I was placed in a four person dorm room by myself, which added to my uncomfortable feeling of not being completely safe and secure.
The woman on reception was not so friendly. Was not willing to help and pretended she did not speak a word of English even though I heard her speaking it fluently to the person in front of me. Bed were very uncomfortable. Planes constantly going over head but I guess that's what happens when you book close to the airport so cannot complain about that.
Did not smell nice. Too many steps. Staff could be friendlier.
Everything. bathroom was flooded, room not so clean, entire evening bunch of teenagers was screaming and crying in the hallways. the walls too thin, so u can hear everything.Bathrooms & showers are dirty ( disgusting), wifi isn't free (2,50€ / hour)... The rooms stinks...
