I had stayed at this small, friendly Hotel St Claire on my last trip and was very happy to return as I find the staff exceptionally welcoming, attentive and happy to help (in English and/or French as you wish). I like its pleasingly light, stylish decor, with rooms designed to be calm and restful. The location suits me too, as it's on a quiet street but just a short walk from the Navette Airport bus stop of Jean Jaure, or within 10 mins walk of the main train station, and easily walkable to the.
所有评语 » The owner does day shift and his staff night shift...Both spoke really good English and very helpful and friendly. Really made us feel welcome. Rooms have been renovated and yes they are compact (like most rooms in France,) but nicely presented and clean. Hotel is only approx. 700m from train station..4 blocks down Alle Jean Jarres and 1 block in. Easy to find. Nice breakfast in the morning too. We loved our stay here. Would definitely go back. Lovely friendly welcome by all staff - Olivier was wonderful - warm, informative, efficient, 'bent over backwards' to please - room was delightful - fresh, light, so clean& comfortable with all conveniences, including the best hair dryer! Breakfast was delicious! Had late checkout availability and coffee offered in the charming little salon at any stage of your stay - A+!. The room was clean with a fresh simple design. Loved the natural flooring and the spa aroma throughout. Just what I needed after roaming out and about in the liveliness of Toulouse, to return to a relaxing room. Didn't think I could get such good rest on a small bed, but it was amazing. And the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room had a newly renovated room and bathroom, and was very comfortable, although compact. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful, and the hotel was close to the railway station and easy walking to tourist attractions. Breakfast was very good quality and plentiful. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful we arrived early and were able to leave suitcases at hotel and armed with map provided by young man on reception embarked on walking tour of toulouse, saw all the sites suggested by hotel, really good. We arrived late so didn't spend much time in the hotel but the night manager was really helpful and everything was well equipped and very clean. In theory, breakfast didn't start until 7am but he offered us breakfast at 6.30am. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was adequate. Location is great for walking to the centre, to sights and is convenient to train station (5 min walk). The staff were fabulous, and the location great. The room was small by American standards, and the shower tiny. But a great value, and again, the most helpful staff during our entire 10 day trip through France. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed on a Saturday night and this is an area with lots of bars and restaurants: easy to find somewhere to eat but the young people of Toulouse believe in staying up all night on Saturday so there was a lot of noise! When we left early the next morning the street sweepers were clearing up: should be ok if you don't get out before 8am on a Sunday!. Only that the breakfast room is small and a little too warm with the high temperature we had there. Otherwise nothing. No problems and very good value. Just a minor point...We had to go to a bar to see Andy Murray win Wimbledon! as that particular channel wasn't available in our hotel room. The bar was more sociable than watching in the room anyway, so that is a positive for us!. I was bothered on this occasion by an electronic-type buzzing sound coming from the bathroom. On enquiry, there didnt seem to be anything that could be done to remedy this except to keep the bathroom door closed. Difficult to park close by although there is an underground car park not too far away with a special price if you get the hotel to stamp your parking ticket. It was a bit noisy, but i guess this is unavoidable being a city location. I wouldn't let this put anyone off staying there. It really is a lovely hotel. Nothing. Rooms are of usual small size in France. Bathroom small but adequate for city break. shower booth is a little bit small. Windows in room could not be opened. Smallish rooms. Tiny bathroom - nearly impossible to turn around. The blanket was not very clean. No outside bar. Room was a bit small and fairly basic - although perfectly adequate. I thought it was a little over priced and would have expected better value given that it is not a four star facility. Was in an area with lots of bars so was extremely noisey at night...like until 4am. Even with the windows closed and shutters closed you could hear people yelling and screaming all night long. The very noisy old elevator right next to to the bed!. Size of room. Weird rattan matting over all floors. Lampshade broken in room. Jerry- rigged bathroom with exposed plumbing and ridiculous shower. Yes, European showers are different, but this was just linoleum floor on same level as toilet/sink where water could basically flood entire bathroom if shower left on for more than 30 seconds.Smelled of mold and worst of all it's located on a street corner with bars and drunks that kept me awake past 4am!! Not recommended!!. over priced and very small and cheap furnishings. uncomfortable very small double bed, loo tiny and fire precautions doubtful. Breakfast over priced and luke warm coffee Would not recommend staying here. Very small, cramped room. Bed very uncomfortable and not a true double bed Could have stayed at hotel close by for less money and more comfort.
