The room was nice and comfortable with separate areas for the bed and dressing/lounge. It was at the top of the chateau with views over the surrounding countryside.
The owners are very welcoming and friendly, with helpful advice for trips out.

We thorough enjoyed the personalized service and hospitality offered by all the staff at De Lalande. The hostess Catherine was charming and a lovely lady. Nothing was too much trouble for her guests. The grounds were beautiful and whilst we had poor weather, in warmer weather the pool and terrace would be superb. The chateaux has been refurbished beautifully, tasteful and is comfortable. Can only recommend.
