  The location on the bank of the River Saone, very quiet only 2 other rooms. The room had lots of character with a small balcony and a fantastic view. Tea making facilities. The dinner menu is excellent lots of choice with a high standard of french cuisine.   Friendly welcome from Pascal the owner, beautiful room above the dinning room which looked on to the garden. Very private garden and pool. The food was amazing and selection of wines from Pascal was impressive. This Hotel is 4 star quality plus, not sure why it has 3 star status? Recommend his Cognac selection. Fantastic place. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. It was quiet in spite of being so close to the autoroute, which was a major reason for choosing it. We will return
