L'Abbaye d'Alspach, a former 11th century convent, had a
wonderful, chateau-like archi-tecture. Situated towards the southern end
of the Routes des Vins, it was well-located for touring the very
worthwhile and enjoyable Ecomusee d'Alsace, the Routes des Vins,
Colmar and Strasbourg. The staff was very helpful and friendly; the

Absolutely wonderful room with a large balcony and garden chairs, table and parasol - lovely to relax on.
Nice views from Balcony. Nice village. Lots wine tasting in walking distance. Good for cycling.
Very comfortable, beds ggod, great pillows, good quality bathroom. Clean, well decorated, modern and tasteful in the room, but the hotel is an old abby.
Best to stay here and eat at Swendi as the abby doesnt offer evening meals unfortunately.
The breakfast here was fabulous. Continuously rep
