  It's amazing how the staff cares about you. The men that was on duty when I checked-in gave me much more information about what to do than the "office de Tourisme" (which main role should be this). I got there before check in time but could take the room straight away. Breakfast buffet varied and fair price. He gave suggestions for dinner, which was wonderful. He also gave us a simple photocopied map of Metz and drew a walking trail highlighting must see spots. He also directed us to the correct bus to visit our son at his study abroad campus. This was very important as we speak no French and there were few in the town that could converse in English.
