  Excellent location in the center of Avignon, just off the Place D'Horloge. There are lots of good choices for meals nearby and the major attractions are a short walk. Our room was on the fourth floor (small elevator worked well). It was bright and airy with full length double-doors that opened onto a small balcony overlooking Rue de la republic.   Hotel was fairly easy to find and reception staff was very friendly, informative, and helpful. Internet worked well and private parking was appreciated. We would probably stay here again. - Fine little hotel in good area, need car to move alone, very nice place

  I was very pleased by the friendly and helpful staff at this hotel. The location is ideal - in the old city within easy walking distance of the Tourist Bureau and many nice restaurants and cafés. But what most impressed me was how helpful they were when I had a sudden medical emergency which led to several days in the hospital.   The reception of Mike is outstanding. HIs professionalism, warmth, friendliness and his suggestions for dining or going on tours is fantastic. Good breakfast and excel - We really enjoyed this hotel. It was close to everything and Michael at the front desk was extremely helpful. If you don't like Michael, you probably don't like people. He was great for info and anything we needed. We always enjoyed our interactions with him. Room was spacious, a bit dated, but the building itself is very fitting for the town. Not 5 star, but a very nice place. Loved the location. Room was clean, just needs an update is all. I would stay here again.

  The lady on reception was very helpful. A good basic hotel for the price, especially at Festival time in Avignon. The walk in to Avignon was unexpectedly pleasant with a cycle track running beside the river.   We really appreciated our trip in " provence" but first of all stay tothe st roch hotel in avignon, the owners are really very king andfriendly. The rooms are completely renoved and furnitures are very niceand trendy.   The apartment was attractive and comfortable, with a very functional though small kitchen area, and enough crockery, cutlery and pots and pans for some basic cooking.
