  Dona Marta was an excellent place to stay in San Salvador. The owner, Eduardo and his wife Crisia were warm and generous hosts who have created a hotel that is truly a family environment. It is like staying in their home including excellent food! They are located right by a major street, Blvd. - This place was one of the best places we stayed in Central America. The owner, Eduardo, took good care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. The room was big, clean and we had a tv and minibar.

  The room was comfortable and good value. The location was good - close to some of San Salvador's amenities and in a relatively safe neighbourhood. The staff were all friendly, and the manager Lena was happy to assist us in English - if she was not at the desk the Spanish speaking staff phoned her to speak with us.
