  We liked the accommodation, the room was big, with nice new furniture, with balcony and it was a very quite place even though just few minutes walk from historical center of Cesky Krumlov. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

We had the 4 first floor rooms in the old house, wow, every room was full of vintage items and antiquities of all sorts, access to the garden too which would have been lovely if the weather had been kinder. The car park and security was the reason we picked this hotel and they were very security conscious. We wish we - The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend this hotel.

  We were on the top floor. The pension is located right down town in the pedestrain zone with a clear view of Krumlov castle out of the window. It is an excellent apartment in a great location. The restaurant Mastal nearby is excellent.   The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean.
