  This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hotel were also very good. I have been to Split many times and have in the past always stayed in hotels. This was my first experience with an "apartment" type of accommodation. I loved loved loved the patio for late evening relaxation and people watching. Everything was like new and very clean. Both Antonia and Robi were wonderful and were very helpful in making our stay one to remember. - The apartment was a very nice size for 4 adults and magnificently located just outside the western wall of the palace at the Iron Gate. The terrace was amazing and spacious with a nice view of the square and a beautiful Romanesque house tower with Gothic belfry and Renaissance 24 hour clock adjoining the terrace. No bells ringing thankfully. Very charming and full of history. A great location to explore the palace and return to wonderful accommodations.

The pictures of the pool are exactly views from the balcony.   The location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace, but tucked around the back of a building and thus absolutely quiet. Central Split can be a raucous party scene, but Royal Suites is dead quiet, despite its proximity. The staff is also absolutely fantastic. Someone also waited up for our arrival at 11 PM on a Sunday night. The - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.

  I do not know where to start. We just finished traveling Croatia for 9 days and our last 2 nights were here in Split and it was the best accommodation we stayed in on our trip. The apartment was fully furnished. Dishes, washing machine, towels, tv, Internet. The owner, Branka, was the best as well. The location was excellent, right off the main s - We stayed in One Bedroom Apartment Senjska street. The owners were friendly and pro-active. It had a great location - slightly up Marjan Hill and a short walk to the Riva front. There are some lovely restaurants on the same street (Konobo Marjan, Tinel) as well as a little supermarket. The air-conditioning was good (and much needed!). Powerful shower. Lots of wardrobe space. All in all it surpassed expectations considering the relatively modest price. Recommended :)

  What a great little find! The rooms had everything you could ask for - kitchen, TV, outside area, air con and even a washing machine! The apartment was small but really had everything you need and was very homeley. The location was great about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Split. I had problems finding the apartment, and the owner came to meet me. The location is good- about a 7-10 minute walk to the old city section (Diocletian's Palace) of Split.

He was very nice and gave us some suggestions for eating and sightseeing in Split. Rooms are clean. We told Simoni we were on our honeymoon and he gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and a bigger room than we originally had. We left to Hvar for the night and we left our luggage which was locked in a room near the reception.

  Wow. This place is fabulous! To start, our host, Marija, simply could not have been kinder or more accommodating. She was extremely helpful in making recommendations for sightseeing, dining, etc. in Split. She was also very gracious about accommodating a couple of special requests we had.
