  Very nice hotel. I give it 5 stars all around. It seems like one of the more "Chinese" hotels because some of the staff didnt speak much english. There were more locals staying there too. Needless to say I never had a problem communicating what I needed. Great for business travelers. There is a desk in the room with all the supplies you would need... 别人怎么说 » . Ask for a room upgrade on a high floor. You might get lucky like I did. - As an English speaking traveller, with no Chinese, I found that I was well catered for. They had a Russian girl Julia and a young Frenchman Alex to look after the foreign visitors. Both were very helpful and had good English skills amongst other languages.   This small guesthouse is run by a very friendly team. It is within walking distance of the Shekou ferry (about 5 mins walk) and is parallel to the main road behind the small post office.
