Realizing we did have that option after booking in it was no trouble to staff to relocate us to a smoking unit and with in minutes we were puffing on our cigies out of everybodys way.   I would highly recommend the Skyhome that I stayed - excellent 270 degree view of both sea and city, and trendy designed rooms. There are two swimming pools in Tower 1. They even have pillow options which was tremendously helps deep slumber especially for yound children.   The location was first class, any closer to the water and you would have got wet. The staff were very helpful and polite. Don't be put off re lack of air con because the breeze off the ocean was great and kept the unit cool at all times. The units are spacious and well maintained. I loved every minute of my stay.   We absolutely had a ball at the Grande Florida, the three bedroom apartment in which we stayed was excellently equipped with everything we'd ever need plus more - we weren't expecting irons, ironing boards, vacuums etc. The bedroom set ups were great, especially having 2 bathrooms to share among 5 people. We met lovely families, walked to the beach, just out the gate. We just loved it and cant wait to go back next year. I asked the kids what was their favourite part of holiday? Dreamworld? No the pool at Grande Florida.

  I booked in for my wife & I. We are regularly on the Gold Coast for medical treatment my wife has regularly. Manager was Extremely Helpful & friendly. What a Marvelous change.
