I have stayed at the Clarion four times and each time I have been impressed by the friendly, but professional service. The rooms are so comfortable, it is like going home. I would always chose the Clarion when in Lauceston. The position is ideal, within easy walking distance to all the facilities and restaurants. It was a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. We arrived early after abandoning our side trip on the way due to bad weather and an early check-in was organised with very good grace. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed.
所有评语 » Was a beautiful place with everything you need or want from a modern hotel but with class and charm of the region. Clean, friendly and fantastic amenities. I wish I had stayed more nights. Well worth the extra dollars!. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and beautifully appointed in keeping with the history of the hotel and stables. The restaurant meal was excellent. The spacious and well equipped gymnasium was a bonus. Beautiful original building in mint condition. Furniture selection excellent, location very good. Spacious and well appointed room with exquisite bed linnen. Superb stay, can recommend. Great accommodation in a fantastic old building with lovely staff who were very helpful and pleasant in every way. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Hotel. I like the fact on arrival they were so friendly and helpful. When departing it was the same so friendly. The rooms were great clean plenty of room. Just fantastic. The room was very well furnished with excellent quality furnishings and well thought out hot drinks provision. There was even a cafetiere! Excellent breakfast. I loved the room we were in on the second floor of the old stables, with the leadlight skylight. The breakfast was very pleasant in a lovely sunlit room. the staff went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. The food was great at the restaurant. The ambience of the motel was relaxed and sumptuous. We liked the size of the room & bathroom Comfortable bed with quality linen robes, slippers provided good breakfast with plenty of choices. The Clarion Hotel is a listed building and retains all the charm and decor that entails. Luxury accommodation with all the mod cons. Well restored/renovated old building. Excellent bathroom facility. Pleasant guest lounge area with complimentary coffee and papers. Beautiful room, very close to everything, staff very friendly and helpful, very welcoming, lovely restaurant. Would stay again. We were lucky to be offered an upgrade, the room though on the ground floor had frosted windows and although I understand that being on the ground floor this may be important, is would have beengood to see outside. Leaving!. Once inside the room lacked the heritage charm of the exterior but it's still lovely. Noisy and ineffective heat pump. Room was stone cold when we arrived. Clarion should consider hydronic heating to best serve guests. Location and style of bed side lights inadequate for reading. The staff tried hard but some seemed inexperienced. having to leave. slight odour from water waste outlet set in floor near basin - we used bath mat to cover. Lack of lift. Room on the small side No bedside table on one side. Cost of the in-room bar supplies. Nothing. Loved everything. Only one internet device allowed! Hot breakfast was another 9Aus pp over the included continental, which seems penny pinching relative to the room cost. A 10am checkout is early. but the hotel's perogative; a call at 10:08 asking "when" we were checking out could have been handled better!. The room leaked dring a heavy downpour of rain. Nothing. No view. no elevator. We didn't have a good sleep unfortunately. We both felt some skin rash (itchy skin) throughout the night and wondered if it was the bed sheet. Too far from city Suite was not a suite Expensive.
