Staff (Rodger) went out of his way to accomodate us. Above and beyond consideration to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Eg, moved our room to accomodate circumstances, brought towels out to us as we approached the pool, delivered breakfast to our room without us asking - just outstanding cust service!. The owner was very friendly and check-in was very smooth. Having free WiFi was an added bonus and having a continental breakfast included in the price made the Inn excellent value for money. The Inn was within walking distance of the town although a car was required to get to the harbour. Glynn & Barbara (UK).
所有评语 » Having stayed at more expensive places for years, jabe found the Matador and will be back again! Fantastic staff, great motel with extra touches that you expect to find in 4 star properties. IPod dock was a great extra. Very comfortable beds. Pristine and clean. A gem to find in Coffs!. The staff!! The man at the front desk was so friendly and helpful that it made our stay very enjoyable. The recommended Thai restaurant across the street is excellent and when we brought home take-out, he even provided us with plates and utensils so we could properly enjoy the meal. The staff werer more than helpful and friendly. They could not have done anymore for us and we were treated like old friends. The best part was that we could have our dog with us. Could not recommend this motel highly enough and more motels could take a leaf out of their book. Really great people, friendly and helpful with a sense of humour. The room was fantastic as it stayed true to the original design. True Retro with comfort and style. If you appreciate the 60-70's aesthetic then you'll love it here. Great staff, very kind, helpful, ready to help, make you feel like you are at home. The location is just at the highway 15 minutes away by walking from the center. Everything was fine - great motel to stop by on your way. Guy in a reception was very nice! Bathroom is a bit dated but still very functional. could be difficult accessing the property by car at times (near a busy road on a steep incline and near traffic lights. Nothing I didnt like. I just wish it had a restaurant. A little noisy, but nothing ear plugs can't fix, and no wi fi reception from our room. I think this was a bit too expensive for a time travel to the 70's. In that decade the price would have been a lot lower... N/A. parking was the only minor problem ... No dislikes. Old fashioned, cage spring bed. Could do with more overhead lighting. Nothing at all. Didnt have any problems. deep guttered entry/exit access to carpark required a short but steep walk in the rain. Amount of space between bed and furniture somewhat tight. Glare from external lights onto mirror was very disconcerting. Opening wardrobe door helped to a certain extent. This may only be a problem in the room we occupied. Nothing. N/A. Noise from highway traffic. Free Internet coverage poor. Poor signal for WI FI. Drops in and out. Quite important for business. Limited Car Parking. Noise from the traffic (Pacific Highway).
