  This is a nicely decorated hotel with updated facilities and very comfortable bedding. Well appointed, richly decorated, compact rooms. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The pool and courtyard area is beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast is delicious with many food options from which to choose. The rooms are semi luxurious with nice bathrooms, comfy big beds and a big tv. The lobby is nice with computers you can use for free. The bar and pool are are great for a relaxing beer. Staff are nice with particular mention of Ty the barman. His knowledge of local restaurants and entertainment was brilliant and such a good lad as well. Happy to help with bookings or info.   The staff greeted us from the door man to food staff when we came thru the lobby to get to our rooms. My gosh! We were there to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and Drew who checked us in got very busy searching for other accomodations for us. We ended up in the tower suite with a murphy bed. I had heard those could be uncomfortable,but let me tell you the one in the Marriott, was more comfortable than most king size beds we have stayed in at other hotels. Definitely recommend this hote

  The location was great! The facilities good. The Staff was helpful. Great area of City (The Garden District). Plenty of places in the area to choose to eat at. Strongly recommend New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Restaurant which is in the area. Don't be fooled by the fast food atmosphere, this is a great place to eat, the Seafood is great and ver... vad folk säger » y affordable, easy to get to either walking (from the hotel a long walk for most seniors, easy for younger folk), driving (short drive, there is resta - The atmosphere was perfect and everything I had expected when I booked the room. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ran into some issue @ the beginning of our trip and weren't able to rent a car as planned. One of the staff members sat with us for an hour directing us to the best restaurants and bars outside of the French quarters. The location was perfect. Just a short block from the street cars. Since we didn't have a vehicle it was very convenient.

  I liked the fact that the hotel was very well maintained and quiet although it was located very close to the busy section of the French Quarter, which I also liked. I also liked the public parking garage that was very close by and cost much less than the hotel's price of $30 per night for parking on the premises. - Very Quiet and clean.   Liked the Casino so close and the on call shuttle made it so easy. Had a 2 day layover so it gave us something to do. Restaurant wasn't bad breakfast better than dinner but it was convenient.   We stayed for one night on the way to Hattiesburg and not wanting to stay in New Orleans due to price, we drove to Slidell. What a pleasant surprise. We arrived at 1am after 20 hours travel and the staff member on was welcoming. It is modern, clean and the breakfast which is included in the price was great.   Great staff made us feel welcome and very helpful with all our questions. It was a joy to meet and chat with the staff at this hotel, would stay here again!   The bed was very comfortable. The room was nice and clean and breakfast was wonderful. Staff was great that kept our luggage behind the counter while we went to have lunch at Copeland b/c our train didn't leave until 1:30.   I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!!   The room was big and well kept. We enjoy the pillows on the bed which were very comfortable as well as our (2) large queen size beds. We had a refrigerator and microwave of which we definitely put to use. My husband enjoyed the pool and I liked the seating setup around it. Overall, Ramada Inn is a nice place to stay. - The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The clerk on duty,Keri, gave us correct and easy to follow directions to where we wanted to get to. The room was cleaner and the bed was more comfortable than a lot of higher priced motels that we have stayed at. There wasn't a high noise level. We enjoyed our stay, short though it was.
