  The staff (husband and wife team) were very friendly and helpful and the place although older was very clean. - The bed and bath were clean. Very important!

  Very impressed with the Governor Hotel. It was our first time to Olympia, and I am so glad we ended up here. The staff was super nice (especially the concierge who helped us named Zane), the hot breakfast was great for the price of the room (no Super 8 ghetto meal here), our room was very clean and comfy with an amazing view and they upgraded us t... vad folk säger » o a King Suite for free! Someone needed the room we had booked because it had 2 queens in it. The King Suite room 702 was really nice. The view was am - We were upgraded to a king suite. Great bed, the room was nice but lacking air conditioning. Because the weather outside was still cool we were told that people wanted heat. However, the hallway on the 8th floor and our room was just too toasty. We opened the sliding glass doors. Overall experience was good. We had to keep in perspective that Olympia is an old town with old buildings and not chain suite hotels.

  The hotel had large, quiet rooms with some nice views. The buffet was very reasonably priced and overlooks a beautiful lake. The staff was much friendlier than most. Great water pressure in shower. - The staff was great I liked how I could put key on my key ring.Front desk was the greatest.   Excellent location walking distance to both the Capitol and downtown restaurants and entertainment. Amazingly low price for location and higher end room than typical motel rooms. Quiet rooms. This was a much better choice because of convenience and the room itself was nicer than expected. The front desk lady was e - I like the place it was excellent for me especially the front desk receptionist Chase and Mommy Theresa she's so sweet when she answered my call unlike they other receptionist that I tried to called I think it was 3 hotels I inquired but their mean to answered the calls so I'm So happy in ur hotel and ur good employee .   The room was beautifully appointed. The sink and counter area were beautiful. We loved the 'wood' flooring in the entry. The feather blanket added a little luxury. - Its location is ideal. By many good restaurants, the outdoor market, and Pugest Sound. A good location from which to take a walk.
