  The Hotel posting is The Woodsman hotel and spa I drove by it wishing I had booked there. When I found out it was the hotel I was looking for I was happy. The price is great and the surroundings make you feel like you are at a mountain resort. I went there after skiing all day and is was the perfect place. The rooms were quaint and had everythi... vad folk säger » ng one could need. I was greeted with a smile and all the assistance I needed. I am coming back the next time I go skiing. I really liked the hotel - The hotel was easy to find - the sign reads Woodsman hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. It was a little cold at night, they have heaters on the wall. There was internet connection in the room, not very strong but internet connection! My phone was completely out of signal ( Virgin mobile). The staff let me use their phone a couple of times and also the computer. Breakfast is served in the morning across the street. They cleaned the room/changed towels every day.

  The hotel was older but clean. The manager on-site was very attentive to our needs. Everything works (ice machine, air conditioner, shower). The hotel is close enough to town to walk and close as you can stay to Mt Shasta play and hiking areas. - All about this hotel was good, the owners were very kind, the rooms were clean and they have a lot of... vad folk säger » space, the place is very closed to the comercial area and restaurants.   We rented the 2 BR cottage and it was very comfortable and decorated nicely. The staff was incrediblly friendly and helpful with suggestions and directions. Views from the front porch were breathtakingly beautiful. Breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious. Especially loved the parrot that said praise the Lord. - Charming place - comfortable, cozy, peaceful and quiet. Loved the cottage we stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. We didn't want to eat breakfast in the main house with everyone, so we chose not to go in and eat and one of the staff members came to our cottage and asked if we would like to have our breakfast brought to us! We were surprised by the kind offer. I plan on going back!

  the staff were great and the room was really nice, great view of Mt. Shasta. We were traveling to and from so this was just an overnight stop. Very clean and overall nice. The mattress was getting a bit old and could be replaced, but overall nice place. I also liked the write up in Bookings that described this hotel.   My daughter and 2 grandsons were on a road trip and decided to stay at this resort. We had a queen room that looks like cottages with 2 comfortable queen size bed. There's refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hair drier. My grandsons love the flat screen TV :). The rooms are only between 200-300 yards away from the main check in building. The... vad folk säger » view is beautiful. I would bring my golf clubs with me next time and I would stay at this resort again. - We loved how close it was to the siskiyou lake docking area. We fished three days in a row and having a nice comfy warm room to return to was great. We brought everything we needed to BBQ for two days since BBQs were on sight and we had one conveniently located right out front of our cabin room. The view of the lake was nice as well.
