  We were treated incredibly well. We noted we were on our 40th Anniversary so were upgraded to the jacuzzi King room~so special. Upon returning to our room from an outing, we were pleasantly surprised with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and congratulations card!   I loved everything about this place- felt like home. The room was huge, comfortable and clean, the building was charming, and dont get me started on how rad the bar/restaurant is. Ive read a few bad reviews of this place, and I can only assume they are written by people who live very privileged lives. Try finding another hotel in the area for under $100 a night. All essential amenities were fine--and clean. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. We'll be happy to stay here again on our next visit.

  Of the 4 hotels we stayed in on this 2week trip, Vintage Park was the best. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and went out of their way to assist with whatever we asked. The hotel was well appointed, clean and very comfortable-it felt "homey"! We also stayed in another hotel chain that did something similar to the Kimpton hotels, but they... vad folk säger » 're not even close. (Mcmenamin's Kennedy School, Portland, or). Glad our stay was only 2nights. Earlier in the trip we stayed at a Hyatt Regency in Va - Location was good for us. Came in by train and spent a night before an Alaskan cruise and returned for 3 more nights. In same block was a ywca with inexpensive breakfast/lunch and a deli/store across the street for snacks. Quiet and clean. Very helpful staff. Stored luggage because we arrived early in the day and our train out wasn't until late on the day we checked out. Could easily walk to Pike St. For market and shopping.
