  By far the nicest Courtyard by Marriott I've ever stayed in. Perfect location on the ocean. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Pool and fire pit area by the ocean is beautiful!   I liked the condo-apt. I reserved on the 3rd floor with ocean view. Also, the owners (the resort manages it for them) had decorated nicely. The space had a contemporary, but homey feel. Grounds were reasonably well-kept. - location, decor, view,2 rooms, washer drier, 2 bathrooms, spacious, large balcony with view, privacy, quiet and secure

  Yes, the place is old and run down, but if you're looking for a clean, budget-friendly place, it's fine. Great shower. We got a free upgrade to a room with a king-size bed, so that was very nice. The location is great. Very central and a short walk or drive to many restaurants and beaches. It is waterfront on a nice beach, but most of the units... vad folk säger » do not have direct views of the water. - The location is very good and on the beach which could be dangerous due to high currents but is very nice when the water is calm. The rooms are huge and kept clean. They offer free breakfast (some pastries, bananas, juice, coffee, and tea) which is very convenient to start a busy day on Kauai. We liked our stay in Sands hotel and will definitely go there again.

  The Coral Reef delivered more than expected on nearly every level. We experienced beautiful sunrises and watched tai chi over our coffee each morning. The beach and ocean-side bike and walking path were literally steps from our room. We took long walks on the path which parallels the coastline and were rewarded with spectactular vistas along the way. Our room was clean wi - The staff was very Feriendörfer! It was like Bering in a Big family! They always took time to support us or to give us very good tips and were very flexible! The rooms have ocean view and it is wonderful and absolutely relaxing! The rooms are comfortable and the furnish is very nice! The breakfast is'nt opulently, but enough and very healthy and yummy!! We enjoyed it every morning! We can absolutely recommend this hotel !!!

  The grounds were really nice, with a beautiful view of the ocean, not good for swimming but very nice stretch of coast. A great deal for the money, very relaxing and laid back. A slice of old Hawaii that is fast disappearing. The condo itself was very well appointed, with Hawaiian furnishings, even Hawaii plates! The pool was enjoyable. The pool... vad folk säger » bar had great drinks and food at very reasonable prices, and the restaurant on site had the best meal we have had on any Hawaiian island...and we hav - Garden View Apartment included nice view of ocean, large lanai with table and two chairs, washer/dryer, dishwasher, full kitchen, supplied soaps for washer and dishwasher and bathroom toiletries. There were several clean gas grills with grilling tools around the property as well as lounge chairs, hammocks, pool and hot tub. Great restaurant on site but make reservations at least 48 hours in advance. Gluten free menu was phenomenal.

  A fantastic location (enhanced by our free up grade to an ocean view room - right on the beach with the sunrise in our window). Staff were great and the new introduction of a free continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. Easy to get to all parts of the beautiful island of Kauai and next to the Coconut Marketplace and other places to... vad folk säger » shop and eat. Why pay top dollar when you can stay in such a great place as The Islander ? - We were lucky enough to be upgraded to room 208. This a one bedroom suite above the lobby, that weirdly enough comes with it's own dedicated car space. It was a great room...spotless, well designed, had a great view of the ocean, and a comfortable bed. We only stayed two nights, and wished we could have stayed longer. For us, this hotel was far better than the Marriott Courtyard, which is located in the same area.

  The hotel has a great location. It is located on a beach, about 10 minutes from the airport, and about equal distance to the end of the highway in the north and to the west. Passing in front of the hotel is a pedestrian walkway on which one can walk to a small commercial center for dining and shopping. There is also a concrete sidewalk along the beach for those who enjoy walking as well as a long beach front for those - The room was available 2 hours early and 2 hour late check out no charge. Comps of show tickets and food were unexpected and great. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations.
