Everything... The staff, and management, went out of their way to ensure that their guests were comfortable and their every need was taken care of. The premises were well kept at all times, and the rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. In the morning they offer a free, hot & cold breakfast that is high in quality and quantity. This hotel fronts onto the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico which offers all the amenities that a visitor could want during their stay, including a nearby .

We had a great time .. My husband was laid off 4 weeks ago and we were super stressed. So we headed to the coast to destress. Thanks to u we did.. A woman slipped on the slope leaving the elevator one morning. The staff was very attentive to her and her family. Bit better yet.. They were on that slope putting down anti slip strips the same day. Very impressive. We will recommend your hotel always. We have stayed in the past also and will return. You put us in the room we wanted. Thank you. Very. The hotel is perfect if you are not looking a lot luxury. The beach is exactly across to the street and all restaurants, shopping stores are very close. The breakfast is enought and perfect for the morning. The heated pool is lovely to swim for for cooler days. From the staff to the manager, everybody are very friendly, very helpfull and smiling.THANKS. I will certainly decide again in my next trip to Galveston. I was allowed to check in early, by about an hour and a half. All of the front desk people were very friendly. I liked being on the sea wall and my kids loved the pool. The other guests were friendly too and other than kid noises during the day, it was quiet. The price was a big point with me and the reviews were good. The location is awesome. I prefer to stay on the seawall and this hotel fit the bill. We drove down for a quick over night trip to go to the Pleasure Pier with our daughter. We would stay here again. I like the location the most, it was so close to the beach and everything (grocery store, restraunts and shops) was in walking distance. The complimentry breakfast was nice and so was the staff. I am considering going back again with my children. I liked the close proximity to the beach at Galveston. Plus there were many restaurants and attractions within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were all very courteous and professional and helped make our stay enjoyable. Being a dieabetic, I need a refrigerator to keep my insilin. I was thankful for that. The landscaping was nice, the hotel is clean. I also liked the quick check in and check out services we received from the front desk. The friendly, courteous staff made me feel welcome. Room was clean, WiFi easy to access with good signal. Lots of coffee left in room. Short walk to many stores, restaurants or the beach. Great location, easy to find. Staff very frindly and helpful, did not get cups for coffee for next morning, but cloud have asked desk if wife had said something (LOL) Walls a little thin but well worth the super low rate of $ 35.00 we paid. Celebrated 25 wedding anniversary ,my wife an I enjoyed stay. Staff was very friendly and loved to make sure customers are happy. We stayed at a much expensive hotel two days prior didnt get as friendly staff. It was a really good deal had no problems with the room or the staff. The heated pool was nice and clean and it was in walking distance from restaurants and the 61st street fishing pier which was also a plus!. we absolutely loved our stay. staff was very friendly and the price was great. the view was really good. the room was clean and had everything we needed. we will be looking forward to booking again soon. The hotel actually had a lower rate than on booking, and they honored it for my stay. I loved our proxumity to the beach and the room was clean and neat though very small. It sits rt. across street from beach and fishing pier, which was the deal breaker for my husband and I. The location was incredible, it was close to everything. We could walk across to the beach and pick up shells and even go fishing on a pier. I picked wrong week to go as there was nothing open with regards to family fun, the Water park didn't open till Friday, Pleasure Pier didn't open till Thursday and it's not worth the price, no reflection on Hotel. There just wasn't anything to do Monday Through Thursday beside take tour. I didn't like that we had to go home to reality. Since we are looking for employment and have flexibility, we wanted to stay longer!!. N/A. The toilet paper was like 1/4 ply. The gas stations on our way home had better toilet paper. Also, the parking lot in the back was kind of nasty with garbage on the ground and stuff piled around the dumpster area. Also, the packages of coffee in my room were for a different model of coffee maker than the one actually in the room. The cartridge wouldn't fit. The beds are not real comfortable and the room could have been cleaner. The bathroom had hair,dust and just a overall unclean look. The room smelled moldy and the bathroom shower curtain was dirty and smelled. The towels were very rough. The blanket on the bed was very thin (we were cold). Despite those things it was an okay stay considering we really did not spend a lot of time in our room. One of the elevators was not working for a short while one day, but it was fixed very quickly. The breakfast was continental, so we had to go out to eat. Leaving, wish I could have stayed longer. That I couldn't stay longer!. The weather but can't do anything about that. Some drunk college kids tried to take over the pool. Management quickly responded and handled the situation. Price!!! Beds could be more comfy!. The room smelled musty and the carpet never felt dry - and our clothes never dried either. Breakfast was lacking other hot items besides waffles. Check out was at 11 am which was a little frustrating we had to rush to feed everyone one and clean and pack up. Liked it all. The double beds in the room were too small. They were actually two full beds not good for a family of 4. Room was a bit dark and the aircon noisy. Its the same standard aircon unit as everywhere. The pool was dirty and overcrowded. The elevator, it made horrible noises to the 4th floor. nothing, they were very accomodating even when I had to alter my dates. Nothing, it was great. No complaints. WIll return!. Nothing. The wifi didn't work, but I was on vacation.. So I have no complaints!. The only complaint I had was the floors were being painted. There was yellow tape blocking my path to my room. I crossed it anyway. I realize maintenance needs to be performed. But that was my only irritation. I wish they had balconies, there is no beach view. -not very much nightlight or activities in off-season. The room (mainly the carpet..gross) was a little outdated, I travel constantly for work/pleasure and have experienced all ends of hotels, motels and inns. I was just expecting a little more I guess for how much I paid (I paid over $100 at "half price"..thats questionable though). Also the staff seemed to be unorganized, but were very kind. We stayed two nights and the maid service didn't come and clean our room or change our linen after the first night, even when we asked a couple of times. That evening after housekeeping left, maintenance brought us clean towls and sheets and we changed the sheets ourselves. There was sometimes trash sitting around in trash bags in the hall. The trash bags should go out straight to the dumpsters. Nothing. The staff cleaned the room while we were out but didn't replace the dirty towels. Not a real problem as they brought them to the room as soon as I called the front desk and reported. The elevator was pretty rough. Nothing sticks out. We had reserved a king but got 2doubles and light over sink was dull so couldn't put on makeup very well. There were a lot of birds outside our room in the palm trees but air conditioner hid it pretty good. If no air used then it would be loud.
