  I was quite concerned after reading the mixed reviews, however there was an event that took 8500 rooms in Philly with many hotels sold out and choices were extremely limited. Microtel is a great choice if you just want a clean bed and bathroom and easy train access into Philly.   The staff was very friendly and very helpful especially after the first suttle didn't arrive and I had to call for a second one. The shuttle driver refused a tip because they were late in picking me up, he also put together a small lunch sack for me so I would have something to eat.   The receptionist was lovely. I think her name was Jessica. She was very friendly. The other guy working was also very friendly. I am not sure of his title but he brought us the roll away bed.
