  We found the hotel to be ideally located to walk into town without being in the middle of the crowds. (and there is a free shuttle stop nearby to take you downtown as well.)There were numerous great restaurant options close by. We especially enjoyed Miss Shirley's. The hotel staff was excellent.   This was the first time we rented a suite and we traveled with two other families who did as well. It was such a pleasant experience. It only took 4 years and trying out a bunch of different options when visiting our son at the usna to finally get it right. So wish we could have gotten the same for Commissioning Week. Then we decided we wanted to stay for two nights but when I went on Book.com website it wouldn't let me make the changes so I contacted the hotel and asked them if we went directly thru them, if they would make sure we kept the same room and they said they would.
