  Very welcoming and child friendly. The kitchen had everything you could need and bedrooms were comfortable. Very useful to have parking just outside. - The apartment was very spacious and modern decoration inside. Very clean and tidy inside and very close to the town of Windermere

  Wow, we stayed here in Dec 09 and it is wonderful, no wonder its the aa funkiest guest house in the whole UK! will return and would recommend highly, try the Bowness suite, it has its own pation, amazing bathroom and your breakfast magically appears out of nowhere! - The staff made us very welcome and the room was fantastic will be staying there a... vad folk säger » gain.

  Worth every penny - a fantastic small hotel It snowed heavily during our stay and the staff even cleared the snow from our car - We stayed in the Bowness suite and it was beautiful, we could not fault a thing at this place, will return soon

  A beautiful hotel in a great location. A warm and friendly atmosphere. Very helpful hosts. Lovely rooms, and a fantastic view from the coniston room which we stayed in. Especially on easter sunday morning, with the snow. A gorgeous breakfast, and dining room.   The staff were very friendly , welcoming and always ready to help. The location , set in woods and hills above Lake Windermere , is fantastic. As for the hotel , it had character and charm , with some very appealing features. The food was excellent. - Attention to detail and being made extremely welcome

  From the moment we arrived we were treated like old friends as opposed to guests. The hotel is a haven of peace and tranquility offering warm and very comfortable, quality interior accommodation . The menu and wine list is excellent, and the food served was high quality and very tasty. It was in a good location, only a short walk to Windermere Village. I would definitely consider staying here again, and have already recommended it to family and friends.
