  We were extremely impressed with the room in which we stayed. Our 19 month old daughter was given a lovely cot to sleep in, our sheets were always turned down by the time we got back at night and mints on our pillows-you cant get better than that! Our bathroom was extremely clean and we were provided with wonderful little shampoos and body lotion e... vad folk säger » tc. Best place we have ever stayed!!! - We arrived tired after driving from Oxford, and our room was not ready. However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

  the games room, we used the most.there was a very gfood singer, that was not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to like it , and we could enjoy it,but still play pool etc in the annex off from it, so it was well thought out - Very impressed by naveens hospitality and even upgraded myroom...nice one!

  The hotel was excellent and certainly lived up to it's description and reviews. Marion and Les (the owners) were very welcoming (the pot of tea on arrival was very much appreciated). We stayed in one of the garden rooms which had recently been refurbished - it was lovely. The hotel generally was clean and tidy and the breakfasts were homecooked ... vad folk säger » and delicious. - The owners of The Charterhouse made us feel very welcome. The house is in a great location for Torquay and near to Cockington Country Park. The hotel is great and you feel right at home in a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast room was very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. We couldn't have asked for more. We will be booking again.

Usually parking available in street at convenient distance Quiet neighbourhood with easy reach of town centre - It was my first time at Fleurie House and I would highly recommend it. It was clean.   The beds very comfortable, breakfast very tasty and set us up for the day, quality food cooked well. We were a family with a difference i.e. an 87 year old mum with two off her six children aged 64 and 53 ! The price allowed us to visit our older brother who is very unwell. The hotel very accomodating arranging a third single bed in the room. The family that own the hotel made us feel so welcome and made us feel like we'd know them for years! The hotel was clean and well looked after and the hotel breakfast was lovely!
