  The location is superb and the view from our room looking downriver from the village was inspiring. We had no need of wi-fi and didn't use the fitness centre although a quick peek showed it to be of high quality.The hotel itself was a very stylish and comfortable conversion of the former not quite so "dark and satanic mill " and the Visitor centre... vad folk säger » and Village were fascinating - Annie's Ride was one of the bestaudio-visual tours I have encountered. Robert Owen's principles should be compulsory r - We checked in to New Lanark Hotel for one night and were upgraded to one of the Waterside, two-bedroom, self-catering cottages. It was a fabulous location, right on the water. The sound of the river was constant, but a lovely and soothing sound. If you don't want to hear the water, this is not the place to be!   Extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Our room wasn't ready on arrival but the staff took our bags, jackets etc. We had a great lunch and our room cards were brought to us in the restaurant and our bags etc were already in the room. The hotel was very easy to find and lots of parking space. - I love how the dakota looks it is a beautiful hotel especially the lounge reception and dining area the staff are always lovely and helpful especially tge receptionist that was on when i arrived at the hotel i think it is really good for business occassions.

  as we didnt arrive till later on on the saturday nite we liked that we didnt have to check out till 12 pm instead of 11 am. We will most definately be visiting again soon. - buffet breakfast was really good and hotel handy for motorway. friendly staff who could speak and understand english unlike a lot of hotels in the UK

I only had one short night in the hotel en route from Tiree to Somerset and for this purpose it was an excellent choice .   The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to be so. The location is excellent, being in a large park area with lots of walks etc. It's location Meir a busy intersection of the highway means that you need to ask for a room not facing the road . The same numbers on the second floor would have th - the staff were very nice and friendly and helpful. just what we needed. the rooms were spacious and big enough and the beds were comfy. clean bedding was everyday and the venue offered food and refreshments when required. car parking appeared safe and secure and local facilities met all our needs.

  Good clean accomodation in a spacious room, good shower pressure, comfy bed. We stayed for the one night as a place to get some sleep as we travelled down south, room had all we needed for the night. Plenty of parking available.   The staff were really lovely and made the family wedding we came for a great day.it was really convenient to be able to get a bus into Glasgow outside the hotel and the train just a mile down the road.The Hotel was also very warm and the public rooms really nice,and the breakfast was good - We attended a family wedding at the Bothwell BridgeHotel... vad folk säger » during our stay and have to say the Staff provided us with an excellent event, with every need catered for.   Our daughter (20 months) would not settle and the staff kindly heated a bottle of milk (after midnight) and gave me a separate room to go with her so my husband could sleep before driving in the morning. They really were so accommodating and went beyond what most other hotels would ever do. We could not fault them in their friendliness or service.... vad folk säger » - A really lovely find, not expected to be so good as the price was quite reasonable. They laid on a mini bus for us to go into the city to watch Bruce Springsteen and all the staff were so friendly, we'd come back and stay here if we were visiting the area again!

  Lovely friendly place. Reception staff made you feel very welcome. Dogs completely welcome at no extra charge. Most welcoming change to most other places we have stayed. Restaurant staff lovely, willing to spend time to chat with you, very rare these days. Meal was very good , nice wine list too. Lots of lovely comfortable lounge area , be - The staff were fantastic; they were friendly, welcoming and well presented. The lounge was tastefully decorated and you could be forgiven for thinking that you were in a boutique hotel rather than a chain. Our room, while being compact still had a luxurious feel which was great. I had the full Scottish breakfast which I was very pleased with as it looked appetizing and tasted as good as it looked. I managed to get a really good rate for our room and a discount on breakfast as we booked online.

  We stayed at this hotel on our final night of a 5 night tour around the Scottish highlands and was the best in terms of staff friendliness, room size, great shower, good food in the bar next door, we certainly did not suffer any inconvenience as a result of the current restoration of the hotel restaurant. One of the children also left something behind which the hotel hav - We had three rooms, the family room being a huge room with plenty of space for kids and parents. The employees were very kind. There was a fire in May and although the staff have done well at clean up, there is still a lingering smell of smoke in the main building..we had to get air spray to mask the smell. Breakfast was served in the adjoining pub, a full English or continental..fine but not fab. Good for seeing Stirling and Bourne Castles.

  The staff were excellent we a minor problem and this was solved with speed and efficency. This is a hidden gem of a place with good food and excellent views of the hills and the golf course the gym and pool were also well maintained.
