  Very lovely country house set in a quiet remote place next to a loch.The decoration is very refined in a modern Scottish style. The satff wasvery friendly. The dinner was great (all fresh and tasty). - Everything,it was perfect!

  I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,... vad folk säger » whiskey, and local brews. The staff was very nice. - The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

  I had asked for quiet rooms, and it was quiet and I slept well. The manager was very helpful to me with Directions etc. The meal was lovely and the prices reasonable. The location of the Hotel was perfect. We will hopefully go again next year. Reasonable rate for single occupancy. - It does not look great on the photos but it's quite nice.   We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park!   A beautiful apartment with great attention to detail and lots of extras to make one's stay more enjoyable including chocolates and many goodies in the fridge.   I liked the very friendly staff, nothing seem to bother them. Tommy the manager is a credit to all managers.   I liked this hotel, Highland standards can be poor compared with big town hotels, but this one is very good, excellant by highland standards. Situation on the main street is good, with good parking. Room was comfortable and clean with a good shower (unusual in the highlands) Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was first class.... vad folk säger » I didnt use the restaurant, but had a meal in the bar, food was good and the locals very friendly. I travel the highlands a lot, I will use this hote - Maggie was a tremendous help to us in lining up alternate transportation when our tour company cancelled our tour. She let us leave luggage at the hotel while did a bus tour before catching the train back to Inverness. I will happily stay here again!

  The staff were nice people. I liked their honesty. The room was great for the price, as was the shower (very powerful and hot). Service was fine in general.
