  was only in the isle of man working unfortunately but this hotel was exceptional, the staff faultless, hotel was very clean in a good location right on sea front and the breakfast was amazing the menu was extensive and you could have anything i had full manx and it was cooked to perfection. hopefully i will get back to Douglas for a break and wil... vad folk säger » l definitely be staying at this hotel.Even the parking wasn't an issue as you can park outside overnight and all day in the car park 100 yds away for - This place was amazing! The room was beautiful and had an awesome view!!!! They even give you chocolates and have a nice sitting room where you can mingle with the other guest. You can see the horse trollies right out front and there is a stop to get on it right there also. Had an amazing breakfast! They also held our luggage after we checked out, since our flight wasn't till late in the day we wanted to explore but didn't know what to do with the luggage. Next time we come we will definitely s

  We received an extremely friendly welcome and the staff were friendlythroughout our stay. Room was clean, comfortable and welcoming and hadall the facilities needed. Downstairs in the reception area there is awelcoming lounge / bar where you can sit and watch tv, chat, read a bookand generally relax.   The rooms were clean and spacious, lovely big bed, lots of tea, coffee available in the room including bottled water. Staff were excellent friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Very welcoming hosts. The breakfast was very good we didn't use the restaurant for evening meals however the Paragon restaurant did appear busy in the evening! - We sta... vad folk säger » yed for one night and had a very pleasnt stay. The hotel is comfortable and well equipped & the food in the dining room, selected from a cavery menu (all 3 courses) was plentiful & well cooked. We only stayed one night as we were touring around but would happily stay there again

  Like most hotels in Douglas it is now an old building, but everywhere inside the hotel was nice and clean and the staff where very helpfull. I was in a single room, but not too small and the shower was fine.   The location of the Hotel was excellent. The bedroom and bathroom were ample-sized for two people and very clean. Towels were changed as and when requested. The breakfast choice was superb, cooked to order and hot. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived late morning, check in normally 2pm, and as we had advi - Great location (within walking distance of Douglas and all its attractions). Very clean and comfortable room (albeit quite basic) with kingsize bed - unusual for a Guest House (where one would expect a double bed only). Extraordinarily friendly and extremely helpful team of staff (we left early and in place of breakfast they made us lovely sandwiches to eat at a more 'sensible' hour).   The proprietors kindly provided me with soya milk as previously requested and additionally, olive oil spread. My breakfast was cooked fresh as I arrived in the diding room. The proprietors passed on a telephone message from my wife. - We stayed in room one, which has rear facing windows, so it was quiet at night.   The Executive double room was large and comfortable. I usually stay in an Atrium room at this hotel but that option wasn't available via letsbookhotel.com - but I was happy with the allocated room. Sometimes Atrium rooms are a bit noisy (it's an open plan arrangement so if someone else has their balcony door open and the tv playing loudly, the noi... vad folk säger » se spreads around) but that was not a problem in this room. - Food was excellent including the 2 restaurants attached to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very helpful which gives the whole place a happy atmosphere. Lovely touch also of being able to have fresh milk for your tea and coffee in the room and bottled water too.

  Excellent B&B in a large house in a line of upscale suburban homes on the road North out of Douglas. Overlooking the sea and Tram lines; quiet area. Margaret is the best hostess, keen to make you as comfortable as possible and ensure you enjoy every aspect of your visit. Breakfast choices excellent and innovative (ie: bagels, eggs, smoked salm... vad folk säger » on), well cooked and presented. Did not try her dinner menu (failed to realise it was available and unfortunately made alternative arrangements) but c - Margaret was very welcoming and friendly. We were upgraded to a large room with a massive bed, a large bathroom with luxury bath and shower. There was a walk in wardrobe and a TV which came out of a cupboard and could be turned to face the bed or the sofa. Everything was provided including free bottled water in the fridge, a vast array of coffee for the coffee maker, home baked cakes in the huge communal sitting room and even toothbrushes and toothpaste.
