  the staff were very polite and helpful .. from the receptionist to the waiting staff in the breakfast dining room and the night receptionist, nothing was any trouble for them at all - the ambience and welcoming atmosphere; the efficient,friendly but courteous staff for whom nothing was too much trouble

  The accommodation was spacious ,very comfortable bed and bathroom new. Wonderful shower .Staff exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Breakfast excellent plenty of choice. A wonderful personal family run hotel. Highly recommend to anyone. Great location quiet and for seeing the Wirrel and Chester.   Staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed to go to a nearby wedding. Offered to book taxis . Nothing too much trouble . - Very good hotel for visiting Chester area. Staff were very helpful and accommodation was clean and comfortable.

  We found this a very friendly hotel to stay in. All the staff we met were excellent and made our stay very comfortable. One very small issue regarding the heating in the bedroom was solved immediately & with no fuss. The room was clean, large & well fitted. We ate in the attached Restaurant for both lunch & dinner and thoroughly enjoye... vad folk säger » d our meals. It's good honest pub grub offering decent portions at a reasonable price. - Without exception the staff were cheerful, helpful and polite. Food choice, quality and speed of service very good. Although we only had the disabled room because it was the last available, Reception rang our home to ask if we had any special needs.
