  The Hotel reception area was a bit tired looking but the member of staff who dealt with me upon checking in was very pleasant and showed me the room we would be staying in. I think we hit the jackpot because it was lovely and clean,bright and spacious and had a wet room and Wide screened TV. The Indian Restaurant inside the Hotel was very nice and the food was - The room was perfect although was not properly vacuumed other than this excellent value and staff were very helpful. The room was decorated well, the bed was comfortable and the room spacious. The ensuite was really good with lots of space i would have mo hesitation in recommending it to others and intend to use it next Christmas rather than booking early and getting accommodation in Bath itself

  Beautifully decorated rppms, spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent choice of food. We were delighted. - Staff were very friendly and the room was a good size and very clean. would stay again.

  This must be the friendliest place we have ever stayed in, from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. Everything about the hotel is really comfortable and the food is excellent. It's also in a very good position for touring by car or getting a train to Bath or Bristol. The room was lovely and the food was superb. Beautiful setting and it was perfect for a weekend away without the children. Can't wait to return!

  Great Pub/Room for the night – it is more than a B&B. If you are thinking of staying in Bristol city for work/leisure as I was this is a great base much better than a bland corporate hotel and cheaper. Recently decorated, basic but clean and very good sized room with comfy bed, cheery linen and decent towels. The bar for an evening drink (good real ale) is very friendly to vis - Staff very friendly and helpful. I knew I was going to arrive late so I rang in advance, Natalie, the landlady, assured me it wasn't a problem and she stayed up to welcome me. I also had to leave early for a meeting so the landlord, Shaun, got up earlier to cook me breakfast which was delicious It was also great value for money.
