  We received a very friendly greeting from Nicky, as though she had been waiting for the arrival of someone she already knew. The breakfasts were excellent, and the tables in the dining room were not too close together. Our room had a lovely view over the garden, and was very peaceful. My husband had a small accident with the towel rack in the bathroom, but this was no problem to Nicky and it was fixed by the time we returned that - This is our second time staying and we were very pleased to be going back. Owner is very friendly and the rooms we have had had been recently refurbished and are clean and comfortable. High quality breakfast and very relaxed feel. Best bits of staying in a hotel and some one's home.

  It could not be beaten by any small accomodation we have stayed in. A warm , friendly home from home. However re. the entrance up a steep outside steps this should be mentioned in the ad.( likewise similar properties).   I stay in Hotels/Guest houses all the time and this has to be one of thebest. Whilst it is not a Hotel, (and does not claim to be), it haseverything.   We had a brilliant room with sea views which was cleaned daily to a very high standard and the girl on reception, Emily, couldn't have been more helpful and professional, offering tips on where to go locally and helping us extensively with any queries we had, booking taxis for us at the cheapest price available, she made our stay incredibly easy a... vad folk säger » nd enjoyable! We would like to thank her for all her help.The other staff on reception were equally as friendly and helpful, we have never stayed at a - Well we picked a good time to go as there was a carnival on the day we arrived which was very good and beer festival with music which was enjoyable. The hotel entertainment was also good. We were extremely impressed with Emily on reception she was polite and very helpful at all times.

Comfortable room - its not a hotel so don't expect that type of room style but it was nice and clean and comfortable and more welcoming than a traditional B&B - it is a guest house which I prefer. 10 minute walk to pub and probably another 10mins to harbour.   This farm is absolutely adorable! It was already dark when we got close there, thus difficult to find out where it is. But Alison actually came out of the house to guide us after we called her.   Our favourite hotel on our trip.We booked a small room with en suite and it was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was brilliant, right on the harbour. Food was great, people were friendly and a very relaxed attitude. We loved Ilfracombe itself, so much to do and see. Plenty on offer for all types of people.   The hotel owners are a wonderful couple who can't do enough to help - thanks to the weather and the cancellation of the Oldenburg we were able to enjoy a second night of their warm hospitality and amazing breakfast! - Staff were very friendly. The rooms were very nice.
