  The staff were very helpful and friendly for the duration of my stay. The room itself was lovely, with a constant supply of hot water and a huge range of in-room teas, coffees and hot chocolates. While the facilities and extras were not fantastic, I was there for business and not pleasure so it did not affect me in any way. Overall, the entire stay at the Red Lion was very enjoyable and the food - rooms are chalet style an the rear of the garden,relatively new and very comfortable, very quite no road noise. the red lion is a 16 century grade 2 listed pub and is full of old word character,all the staff are excellent and friendly, i would thoroughly recommend staying here.

  Staff were fantasic,I've stayed in hotels all over the world so I knowwhat I like. I'll definately be going back yto Hinxton hall. Thanks toall for the best break I've had in a while - Stayed in a hall room, was as good as any 4 or 5 star hotel I have stayed in, staff are friendly and helpful. For the price it exceeded expectations !

  We recently stayed here for a wedding in Royston. It was further out than we were expecting and the Hotel staff were very helpful with recommending local cab firms and offering to book for us. The room we had was in the converted stable block which was large and comfortable and perfectly adequate for our needs.. The bed in particular was huge! In fact all of the S - lovely people, nice location and good food. An all rounder for the business traveller. Located just past the bend for those with pesky sat navs!

  The hotel is next to the railway station (3 minute walk) with frequent trains to Cambridge and London Liverpool station (every hour). This makes the hotel a good option if you want to stay outside but still visit Cambridge and/or London by train. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and had a nice big show - We booked holiday inn for a family wedding in Cambridge. This hotel was an idle location, very clean, friendly staff and cost effective. Liked everything about the hotel and will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. It's in a peaceful location away from hussel and bustle. There is a railway station next door but couldn't here the trains as hotel windows are triple glazed.
