  Had a great 5 night stay. Great location in the countryside on an easy to use bus route. No need to rent a car. Short walk to the coast through beautiful lanes. Good food, great service, fun folk music in pub. Would stay here again if we come back to Guernsey. - Nice location, not too far from the sea.   The rooms were fab, perfect, staff all very friendly, Malcolm was brilliant, doggy receptionist was cute! :-) Food was fab, place amazing, relaxing, enjoyable, peaceful, restful and I would def come again in 2014!!!   The bed was the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in!! I also asked if we could extend the check out by an hour which was no problem. - Service and helpfullness of staff.Good food.

  Right from the start, I was made to feel warmly welcomed and I was picked up from the airport on arrival which was a welcome change for a solo traveller. La Roche is a beautiful house and the room I stayed in was luxurious, clean and comfortable. I shared a bathroom and toilet with the room next door but this was not a problem and worked very we... vad folk säger » ll. The owners, Jane and David were exquisite hosts. They were really helpful about what to see and the best way of getting there. Breakfasts were - David and Jane were probably the friendliest and nicest B&B owners I've ever met. Had a nice long chat, they offered a glass of wine and they were very interesting people. The room was also very nice and clean. They really helped make my stay in Guernsey memorable and enjoyable.

  We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, especially Donna the manageress who was extremely helpful all the time. We liked the cleanliness and the fact that the towels and drink making facilities were renewed every day. We enjoyed the entertainment as do the residents of Grandes Rocques who use the Wayside cheer as their local... vad folk säger » . The food was very good with plenty of choice and reasonable prices. If we go back to Guernsey this will definitely be our first choice to stay. - To be honest there was nothing we didn't like.We loved our room (27).The beds were very comfortable,the bedding and towels clean and fresh.David,Carla,Alex and Philippa were superb and looked after us really well and we let them know this.Thanks too to the kitchen staff whose meals we enjoyed each evening.We also enjoyed the entertainment whilst we were there.   The room was good size very clean and fresh and the hotel food was great .I stay in hotels every week and this was one of the best stays I have experienced will be back .thanks to all the staff - The health suite and early check in. The breakfast was very good too.

  Lovely hotel, plenty of ground floor rooms to make life easier for families and OAPs. Free wi-fi (not well advertised) Staff very friendly & nothing too much trouble - The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back.

  My room was comfy and clean and the bed was beautiful! The complimentary breakfast in the nearby Abbey Court Hotel was absolutely delicious! The manager was very helpful and Charlie the Boxer dog was an adorable addition to reception.
