  Hornsbury Mill is a place we have stayed at before. It was a delight to find it just as we remembered. The staff are friendly and very helpful.   A very warm and courteous welcome and a lovely room. Being on a working farm is a unique experience but very relaxing. The 'Travelodges' and similar of this world could take a few lessons on how to make guests feel at home.   Very welcoming, a friendly couple who made you feel at home and couldn't do enough to make your stay pleasant. Very good breakfast. Ideal base for touring in that area. Rooms were comfy, very clean, nicely decorated, bathroom spotless. Tea, coffee & bickies, fresh milk, bottled water. Also very nice lounge area, so could come back and watch tv... vad folk säger » or read papers/mags before popping off to bed. Would certainly go back there. - Extras - owners have experience of Hyatt hotels so they have taken on board what extras people like from a top hotel company and added it into their B& b, eg robes, tea and cake on arrival, good showers, dish of sweets in room, separate lounge for guests comfort, fabulous breakfast, well worth the price. Owners have only been there 3 months but they have got it spot on.

  We arrived around 9pm and were welcomed by David and his adorable puppy at the parking lot (free of charge, right by the entrance). Inside we were greeted by Trudy who showed us the place and gave us the keys to our rooms (1 twin room, and 1 double room). They were both very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were extremely convenient (like staying at a five-star hotel). The rooms we - We arrived about 5pm and was given a very warm welcome by Trudy who showed us around and offered us a cup of tea or coffee, which was such a lovely thing to do after a long day travelling, It made us feel at home straight away. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. What can we say about the breakfast - FANTASTIC !!! There was plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was first rate. I would definitely recommend this B & B

  Super hospitality, nothing seemed too much trouble! Wonderful breakfast. The children (aged 5 and 6) were even invited to feed the chickens (sadly we were in a rush!) but we ate the freshest eggs we have ever eaten. Only laid that morning. The farm house is very old and it has real character. - Every thing. When we arrived it was dark,jean and mark kindly invited us to share their evening meal. In the morning mark let my 4 yearold grandaughter help feed the chickens and collect eggs for breakfast. It really made her day. We were made to feel very welcome.

  very clean room with spotless en-suite, very nice small hotel in country stylehouse, great breakfast locally sourced, the owner was very welcoming and an excellant host.Could not fault our stay in any way. - Everything.   The hosts were delightful & managed to get that (sometimes difficult) balance of friendliness & professionalism just right. They could give courses in customer care! The rooms were well thought out with attention to detail & breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. We've already started recommending this place & will definitely be back :) - Rooms very clean, nice view of the church, restaurant on arrival was busy, a good sign it is popular and was backed up by good honest and well prepared food.
