  As I was visiting an elderly relative at the hospital across the road, for my needs it was the perfect location and was close enough to the town centre for a break in between visiting hours. The owners were extremely helpful and allowed me to leave the car with them before the return trip to Yorkshire. - We have stayed at Fairlawns many times and... vad folk säger » have never been disappointed. We arrived a bit early after a long transatlantic flight and Matt was very accommodating about finding a room that met our needs even though it was not the room they had planned for us. The breakfast was fabulous as usual. - We enjoyed our stay at Fairlawns. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. We were given a room in the gardens because we had our small dog with us and this was perfect for us, the room had everything we needed and it was cosy in the cold weather we were having.

I stayed there to perform skydive training few minutes driving from there, so it was really easy to stay. There are no big roads nearby, so it is very quiet outside. As well few minutes walk down the road great authentic british pub "Red Lion" with great food and nice service as well.
