  Set in a stunning location, this Inn felt very cosy and Scottish. Our room was dressed with tartan and warm rich colours with a Scottish teddy bear on the bed. This is an old building so it creaks and the pipes whistle. The lady that met us on reception could not have been more welcoming and friendly. However, when we went downstairs we were told by a slightly rude man that our table was not - Excellent accommodation to a high standard and very clean. The staff are all friendly and more than welcome to help to make your stay enjoyable. The bar has an excellent choice and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant, well what can I say other than the best fresh and locally prepared food that I have had the pleasure of trying; eating in the restaurant is a must !!! The views of Loch Long are stunning, with other highly recommended attractions (Loch Lomond, Inverarary, Oban, Stirling etc) only

  If you stand in front of the house, our room is on second floor to the right. It’s small, but made us feel very good and romantic. The view from our room is excellent. To sit in the window alcove with best friend, good book and a gt – excellent! The breakfast was good. The staff is nice. The full cooked is probably the best you'll get in Scotland. View of the Cobbler from the front door & front bedrooms. If you are there to climb it then ask for these rooms on booking.

  We did not eat at the hotel in the evening, therefore canot comment onthe dining menu. Room cleanliness and staff were both excellent.Particularly liked the buffet style breakfast which was well presentedand cooked.   I booked into the twin room and it was clean and comfortable and a lot larger than I expected. It has all the usual amenities such as tea making facilities, television; the internet access is free and a lot better than I have experienced in many of the higher end hotel chains. There is a sofa to watch television although the magnificent picturesque view from the room surpasses anything you can watch. The beds are lar - Everything. This has to be the most well appointed B&B we have ever stayed at. Janice was welcoming and friendly and has done an amazing job. Our room was beautiful and there were lots of special touches (like the complimentary sherry and sweets in crystal). Breakfast was fabulous, a huge selection (including haggis) and served in a beautiful breakfast room with beautiful china and crystal.   We stayed here for one night taking 2 rooms and enjoyed our stay here. We had 2 rooms, one of which was a good size, had an excellent tv and had good views of the loch. The other room was slightly disappointing as there were no bedside tables and the room was next to the road which meant it was noisy. I would therefore say that not all of the room... vad folk säger » s are of the same standard but perhaps they are priced slightly differently – I can’t remember. Lochside is in a good location, on the shores of a loc - The staff were extremely welcoming. the rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The ensuite was imaculate and the shower powerful. The view from room 7 was simply breathtaking. There was a smart TV in the room too, which was an added bonus, with a very wide choice of channels and perfect picture. The breakfast was the best we had in Scotland.

  Everything. Bill the owner was extremely friendly and gave us a great welcome. The room, despite being on the small size was excellently appointed and the decor and furnishings were superb. The Scottish breakfasts prepared by Bill were very tasty and a good size. The location of the property (on the edge of Loch Long) is superb.   This was our second visit to the Attic Apartment and it was just as comfortable as before. Great place to stay if you are looking for somewhere in Arrochar to stay overnight,perfect for families. - we only stayed 1 night and it rained alot - but good location and views - and cosy / comfortable accommodation - with some style thrown in !
