  The service was second to none. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was relaxed and very restful. - very friendly and cosy. great food. perfect place for a romantic weekend.we have been in the hotel twice and we cant wait to go back.

  Everything. We go to The Lakes often, but had not stayed in Keswick. The location, staff, room (very spacious) and facilities were very good indeed. We really look forward to returning soon to The Skiddaw Hotel. - Central location, high standard of accommodation, friendly staff.

Both proprietors were well informed about the area and could offer advice about places to visit and appropriate walks for individuals or families depending on ability.   We had a lovely relaxing weekend staying in the Bridal Suite. The room was the best we'd stayed in at the Lake District. Jana is a really nice person who was very welcoming but not intrusive. Certainly would go back.
