  Very secure, friendly and helpful staff, very clean. We chose San Blas because of its location near Atocha station. Within easy reach of all main attractions. We would stay here again. I think people need to remind themselves how much they pay before writing reviews. If you want four star then you will pay a lot more.   Very nice, modern hotel. The room was very spacious. Toilet was big: there's separate toilet and a nice shower. Next to it is a little cloakroom. All these partitioned next to the bedroom.   The Hotel itself is perfectly situated in the centre of Madrid close to almost everything, the museum and park just a short walk away. The Hotel was spotless and the staff really helpful.   we had a room at the 3rd floor, with a big window and a small balcony looking at calle atocha, it was really nice. the location in excellent. short walking distance to all places of interest. the stuff was helpful and all spoke English in a good level, which is not obvious in Spain. many channels in the TV. there's a room with a washing machine a... vad folk säger » nd a dryer, and a common kitchen. excellent option for budget travelers in the middle of town,cost us 60 euros per night. - We loved staying in this hostal. The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.
