  We chose Can Misse because we wanted a hotel with an easy jorney to Barcelona by commuter rail. We also chose Can Misse because of its great rating. We stayed four nights. This small hotel deserves its rating. Its primary assets are its staff. They gave great service and genuinely tried to make our stay as conformable as possible. Our room w... vad folk säger » as spacious with a large bathroom. It had two French windows, both offering stunning views of Montserrat. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin g - Friendly and helpful staff, good room and delicious modern Catalan food in the restaurant. Easy to get to Montserrat from Collbato. Secure parking behind hotel. Really enjoyed our stay here.

  room was quite big, beautiful view from the balcony, quiteness of the area, good breakfast - Beautifull place, friendly staff.

  This was our second trip to Montserrat - the first was horrible as we were there for the day with the hordes (and there are HORDES) of people on large bus tours. This time we stayed overnight at this hotel and it was AMAZING. A completely different experience. The room was very nice with a view out over the monastery; its a utilitarian room but... vad folk säger » who cares with that view?. The bells mentioned in other reviews didn't bother us too much... we bought excellent cheese, honey and figs from the loc - Hotel Abat Cisneros is in an ideal position & my room overlooked both the Basilca and the Mountains. My decision to stay overnight was well rewarded. The sunset, stillness & peace when all the day tourists have gone is an amazing experience. Staff were very friendly & helpful, rooms comfortable and clean. The ToT ticket is wonderful value.

  If you are going to visit Monserrat, I'd really suggest that you try spending the night there. It's a very busy place during the day. But after the last funicular, you practically have the place to yourself. That means evening and morning prayer with the monks if you choose to go (very beautiful), and a chance to get an early start hiking the trai... vad folk säger » ls. The accommodations are simple. It's not lavish. But it's good enough with a small kitchen, bed, and bathroom. - it is the perfect location for a few days solitude in the mountains. be aware that there are no thrills. you are pretty much on your own that s why you want to go there.
