  the setting of the River Lodge down at the Sabie River is fantastic, the decoration, the garden and plantation are very charming, We had an excellent dinner - The lodge is beautiful and luxurious, the staff very friendly and professional and the organic deli is a delight. The location is breathtaking.

  Christel (Manager) was Excellent. Great information and setting up a game drive. I lost my camera but Christel and the game drive personnel were able to recover and return by mail to me. The breakfast was much more than we expected. Very comfortable. - the management and staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

  The hotel is set in lovely tropical gardens with two delightful pools. The suite we booked was spacious with large well furnished bedroom and sitting area. It also had the benefit of a huge private sun terrace overlooking the sabie road hills. The hotel is ideally situated 5km from Hazyview - with its large selection of restaurants - and only 15km... vad folk säger » from the Phabeni gate entry to the Kruger Park. A tip. If you book on a room only basis try Summerfields Kitchen (2km away towards Hazyview)for a del - It is such a lovely, peaceful, restful place. The surroundings and the garden hotel itself is so beautiful. We really enjoyed the friendly staff, the smiles and the excellent enthusiastic service. The hotel has a lovely Tuscan feel but each room has an African flavor and is very modern.

  The staff were very friendly from the first greeting with the receptionist even to the chef. The whole complex had a rustic charm with heavy wood furniture and beautiful carved ostrich egg lights. The beds were really comfortable and there was a fridge facilities to make tea/coffee. Accommodation to suit all - from large rooms to sleep four to tents with toilet and shower faciliti - The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It it a nice and quiet place where anyone who needs to relax can go. The food is amazingly well prepared. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and help if we needed help. I will stay with you again.
