We have stayed a few times and like staying on the harbour.
Staff are very friendly and keen to make our stay enjoyable.
Good area for walking to the countryside and some beautiful lakes
The food was good and the chef and staff went out of their way to be friendly.
Reception staff were very courteous and friendly.. -

This was the second time we stayed in a week as we had been out to Lysefjord and back again. We again enjoyed our stay, although had a different room which was not quite as good as the last. Good breakfast, enjoyed the free waffles at 9pm. Location is a 5-10 min walk from most spots in the city. -

Basic, but you have all you really need. I bit out of town, but there are buses stopping right outside and the trip to town is not long. Very good breakfast buffet. Very nice and helpful staff. -
I was very kindly upgraded during my 5 days stay. The hotel is quiet, and on one side has beautiful views towards seaside.

Booking changes were lost, but staff fixed problem without fuss. Comfortable above average sized beds for Norwegian standards and bathrobe a nice bonus.

The stuff of the hotel was nice and helpful, the breakfast was okay (sausages, eggs, fish, fruits, vegetables, cheese, yogurts...). The room was brilliant, with a very comfortable bed and a free Wi-Fi (which you have to activate by code you can get on the reception). Overall, the hotel is highly recommended and enjoyable! -

The room was very small but that was expected. It was fine for solo traveler - not sure if it would have worked for two with bags and all. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. At one third of the going rate for hotels in this town it is not surprising that it is booked up well in advance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and I hope they build a few more there.

Wonderful place, in fact we have booked another stay after going down through Fjordland to Stavanger, the night before leaving -
The food was gr8 and the breakfast was loads to choose from and they had been kind enough to replace the dishes which was wrongly ordered by me. If your flight is really early in the morning then this hotel would be a strong recommendation as they have a screen which shows the status of the flights.
