  The hotel was undergoing alterations - it was a bit of a shock when we arrived as this was not mentioned on the website - we liked the staff who were extremely helpful, the reception staff were very efficient.   Very good breakfast; something that also was reflected in the restaurant and the truly excellent dinner we had there. Also, in my opinion, the (interior) architecture solutions (lobby, restaurant, lounge) were done very well, and a joy to experience and behold.

  The hotel staff (especially Jan) were extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. The rooms were bright, clean and comfortable. The hotel was ideally located in the center of the old city, and the use of an automobile was completely unnecessary. The room was quiet, and the food was excellent.
