We stayed 2 nights there, there was an overbooking so they had to place us in a triple room rather than a twin bed one but nobody bothered us there, it was just me and my husband in the room. The people at the reception were fluent in english and gave us all sorts of great information about what to do and what not to. The breakfast was good. - Abil

Clean, bright, airy. Good breakfast spread, authentic dutch stairs, good lockers, good location. And even some pretty designs -- that's saying something for a hostel! Bar seemed good too though I didn't get to join that fun.
Though my stay here was brief, this was one of the best hostels I've stayed at.

This is a good price/quality accommodation. Staff is friendly and will help you with anything you need. This is great if you need to crash somewhere in Amsterdam near central station and downtown!
The rooms are a bit old/basic and come with 1 power outlet. The bed is around 1mtr from the ground which gives plenty of room underneath it. There is free wifi internet (speed is ok) but its only available in the public area.

The hotel is very close to several restaurants, as well as a tram line and the museums. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The employees of the coffeeshop below the hotel were kind and welcoming. It locate 10 minutes from Central station and Damrak, near Old City with Red Light District. Living on boat were very exiting! Also if you arrive early in the morning it is given you breakfast to go.
