  The weather was not great in amsterdam during our stay, but the hotel was perfect place to relax and meet other guests and so welcoming. It was the hightlight of our holiday and there were other enjoyable aspects to our stay in Amsterdam.   Highly recommended for a visit to Amsterdam Staff were outstanding We had a medical issue and the night receptionist (at 4am) really went the extra mile to help us. Room was very modern and comfortable and quite large by european standards, high standrad of bedding and amenities such as flat screen TVs. I highly recommend this hotel to any travellers looking to enjoy a great valued option compared to other ones in this expensive city.

  The location is quite good - you just need to take tram 1 from Amsterdam Centraal train station and in 20 min go out at Eerste Constantjin station. Then in some 300 metres along the street which is opposite to the street with trams, there's a hotel in glass building. It was eady enough to find the way into the building but not inside it. The location is great. Close to many restaurants, cafes & shops. It is also a quick tram ride to major attractions. Amadi Park hotel was easy to locate as was reception. Not sure why others had difficulty finding it, as instructions given were quite clear. Nespresso machine & drinks in mini bar containing 2 of the following drinks coke, beer & water) were provided for free which is an added bonus.

  We stayed in one of the Penthouse rooms in the Grand Hotel Downtown with a shared roof terrace that offered spectacular views across Amsterdam. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities (often not provided in Hotels in Europe). The Hotel is very conveniently placed for exploring the city. We were keen to find a Hotel with secure, reasonably priced on-site parking and the Gr - The hotel itself is very new. Everything in the room was immaculate, and came with free coffee and tea. The bathroom was heated (a luxury in the winter!) The wifi was very fast, and useful. The building is very cool, and has many hip restaurants surrounding it. It´s location is perfect for those who don´t want to be in the busiest part of the city. It´s about a 10 minute walk to the very center, and a 25 minute walk to the train station.
