  Auberge La Source is placed just in front of the big erg.Hassan´s family is very nice and the service is perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were always big and very delicious. We stayed there only one night but we have many unforgetable memories - sunset in dessert with cammels and our perfect guide Mohamed (thanks a lot, Moha... vad folk säger » med, it was really a beautiful experience). We can highly recommend this Auberge to other visitors. You will be very happy there. Ivana and Vladimir - La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

  Everything about Riad Mamouche was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we came really late by car but we found the hotel easily. Short walk to dunes which you can see from the hotel terrace. Great breakfast and amazing (optional) camel trip with staying overnight in the desert. We gave him a lift to Ris - We had a great time in Riad Mamouche ! Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and food were good. There is a lovely garden at the courtyard. You can have breakfast ( in the sun ) on the roof-terrace overlooking the sand-dunes, the oasis and the camels. In the evening you can enjoy the fabulous stars here.   Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place the nite we arrived; he took us on a 4wd trip into the desert... vad folk säger » to visit a family, hear some traditional musicians, and see aspects of the desert we wouldnt have seen without him. The fact that the riad is located - We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet friendly people.

  one of our highlights!! youssef is the most friendly person. he loves his work and cares about his guest as if they are family. his house is lovely, lots of little details and places to hang out. big rooms, air con and heating, the best breakfast so far with omlette, eggs, freshly made delicious cake, orange juice, joghurt and more and wonderfull ... vad folk säger » dinner! the food is much better than in most places we have been to and half the price! it's so nice to sit in the wonderfull yard and watch the birds - Hamid was very helpful the time we were at Chez Youssef. We changed our schedule at least 3 times because we were sick but it was totally no problem for him. He took good care of us. In the end I was really surprised because he didn't want to charge the room for the last night when my sick friend stayed there and I went to the desert.   We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! The food is the best I've had in Morocco (and I have been here for 2 months so far). The rooms are very spacious and spotless!   Absolutely massive rooms in a stunning complex built right on the dune line, with bucket loads of character and filled with Moroccan handicrafts. The hotel is a very short drive off the main road and very easily reached in a small sedan.   we stay in hotel Auberge les roches every things was amazing the staff and the owner Lahcen was very friendly and he explain to us all detials about the tours on camels and 4x4 and the price was resonable and we did the exxursion by cmale to oasis and also by 4x4 and we spent night in oasis and sleeping in the tent nomads and we have dinner under... vad folk säger » tent nomad was delicious and the camel Man Adi and Mustafa was very friendly and hospitality and we went to excursion to see the village black peopl - Good location, right next to sand dunes. Hosts were very accommodating, Mohammed met us at the bus station and helped us with our baggage to hotel, and fed us dinner when we arrived. We were looking to do sandboarding, the hotel helped arrange us a day trip for a reasonable price exactly as we wanted. Breakfast on terrace was really nice.
