We impressived all things of Shimaya Hotel & Ryokan. Our room is wonderful. We attained first room on 4st floor, Number 401. This room is suitable room, suitable cost, big, convenient, very clean and separate space excellence. We arrived at Yudanaka Station within the pick-up timeframe, went to the info desk and they called the hotel for us which was a great help. They arrived within 5 minutes to collect us. Having spent 3 weeks travelling around Japan, my highlight of the trip was my 2 nights in Senshinkan Matsuya.
The owners were so helpful and friendly, picking me up from the train station, driving me to the monkey park (a great experience by the way) and dropping me back to the station the morning I left.
During my stay I was lucky enough to opt for a traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner which were both superb.
Shibu Onsen itself is a wonderful place with 9 public bath houses which are fun
