  Bed: double bed was big enough although it was hard (as in felt a bit hard on the back). Breakfast: good mix of continental and Japanese.   I like the fact that when we had some last minute change of plans, the receptionist helped us instantly in cancelling the last night of our stay (we stayed for 5 nights) as we opted to go to another city for our last 2 days. I would also like to thank the receptionist who assisted me in informing the staff of the next hotel of our arrival. - The ... vad folk säger » hotel is incredibly convenient to the JR Nara stop. After checkout, we were able to leave our bags, rent some bikes from the hotel, and bike around the city until our departure later that day. Great way to explore the city (although close to Nara park it gets a bit too crowded to ride the bike).

  The location in Nara was good, reasonably close to the famous park and all its temples and shrines. It was also close to the train station and to good shopping.
