Venice is a small city (for me anyway) but hard to navigate, so people
will get lost (I got delightfully lost several times), but I thought
Residenza La Loggia was super easy to find. With only the map provided
from their website I went straight from the St. Mark's vaporetto
stop (from the airport) to the B&B with no wrong turns.

The hotel is just off main walking alley Calle dei Fabbri some 4 minutes north from San Marco. The distance between houses on opposite side in this area are tiny co do not expect any view from your window. If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay. The location in the neighbourhood of the Salute church is ideal. When arriving with the vaporetto at the stops of Academia or Zattere, you can go with your luggage trolley to this B&B without CLIMBING over one bridge, just roll ! Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip
through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly
renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his
wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly,
telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes
and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo
Spirito was fairly good value for city.

Staff were very easy to work with and accomodated some special requests
and made good recommendations for dinner, sight-seeing, etc.. -

-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

The location was ideal, 5-10mins walk from where the airport transfer
boat drops you off, and the same distance to the famous Rialto Bridge.
All staff were very friendly, welcoming and had good English. The thick

It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.

Sabina is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She gave us great advice about things to see and places to eat, even to making a reservation for us. The location is very convenient to the airport vaporetto, and directions were simple and easy to follow. The neighborhood is quiet with little tourist traffic. The room was perfect, the bathroom pristine. Everything was first rate.

This bed and breakfast is very close to the San Basilio port where our ferry docked. It's a good thing the staff on the ferry explained to me that there is no rhyme or reason to the numbering of buildings in Venice, only that it will be in a certain area. it's not easy to find it since the numbering in Venice is beyond

number. My advice would be to get a detailed explanation before checking

Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.
