  All the staff at the hotel were wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely little bar which is open late, and a beautiful dining room with a fabulous view of the beach. The room was large and well equipped with shutters over the windows which is great for an afternoon nap! It was pouring it down with rain when the ferry arrived at Stromboli and we were thankful that a golf car was waiting for us. Rooms are a good size, my wife liked the pool and to have a good breakfast facing the sea across a small road was wonderful. Three good nights in firm beds, great.

  The island had been closed for any boats because of weather, so the owner contacted us and proposed to change for the next day. However, it was in November - low season. The rooms with sea view are great (because of the sea view). There is also terrace with swings and chairs. Rooms are big, with small kitchen and old styled furniture. Very cosy. J... vad folk säger » ust 3 minutes walking from Magmatrek, where excursions start. 7-10 minutes walking from the harbour. - Excellent location few minutes walk from centre of Stromboli village, large spacious well equipped room with terrace overlooking sea and mountain behind. Staff able to book trek to crater for guests, breakfast served at nearby bar with good choice of items. Main reason for visit was the crater trek, but found that there is so much more to do on the island.

  We traveled out of season (March) and found Villaggio Stromboli as one of the few places operating. We truly loved the place. It consists of a set of rooms/villas on terraces overlooking the ocean and a lovely black sand beach, with direct views of the Strombolichio and the sea in the front, and the volcano in the back. It is set amidst trees, flo... vad folk säger » wers and lovely patios. The restaurant for breakfast has large windows and a wide terrace overlooking the ocean. It was quiet, well kept, and made up - This hotel was absolutely breathtaking and perfect for our stay in Stromboli. The hotel driver was waiting our arrival at the port when our ferry came in at 5:40 and he took us to the hotel. There was a sitting room for us to enjoy while we waited for our room to become available. The staff was most welcoming. Francesca spoke English and was able to assist us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

  We got the room in the morning much before the official check in. This is a wonderful place in the nature on the slopes of the volcano. We had (included) breakfast in the nearby cafeteria with the best view in the village. - Very cozy bed and breakfast - was picked up by one of the cute small Strombolean "taxis" when we arrived by ferry... which ... vad folk säger » is nice, since it's placed a bit "uphill."
