  1. They picked us up from the port and send us to the airport, which was very convenient 2. The staff was quite nice. The boss was very helpful in helping us and giving us good travel information. 3. The room was very very clean, though it might not be so new 4. It was cheap to stay there... The location is good: near shops and bus station and the beautiful sunset street - Perfect choice for short stay and walking distance to caldera and to fira. Owner welcoming and friendly, lovely little hotel with good rooms well maintained and each decorately differently. Small continental breakfast, but lovely. Nice little roof top terrace with loungers and seating with good views. For the price which included pick up from airport and transfer to port a little gem.

  Having stayed at Hotel Thira in 2011, 2012 and 2013 we just cannot wait to be back in 2014. Consistently great hospitality, great pricing, perfect positioning (for the entire island) and a fantastic family, well -experienced in looking after their precious guests’ every need, makes the decision to continually return to Santorini and Hotel Thira a... vad folk säger » very easy one. There are not enough superlatives for this fabulous family owned and run hotel (and, for those who want more than the local bus and - Our flight arrived at 7am, yet they accommodated us and allowed for an early check-in to refresh before commencing our exploration around the island. I needed to change a meet-up point for a tour we had booked, and Tony was able to arrange for the pick at the hotel instead! To top it off, I had asked Tony to book us a taxi to take us to the airport, but instead he insisted that he take instead. He refused to take any money from me. It was so very sweet of him and wife.   2-3min walking distance to the Fira bus station where you can easily get to everywhere on Santorini. Excellent value for money as long as you can get over not having a perfect view directly from the hotel. - Nice room and bathroom. Near Fira center and bus station.
